The National Auto & Truck Museum counts on a variety of sources for support. But the bottom line to our bottom line: donations. They are what fuel our exhibits, support our education programs, expand our collections and allow us to offer a research library. They also give us the operating dollars that are the foundation for an incredible visitor experience – an experience that includes a classic diner, meeting room, plus a large campus and over 150 historic vehicles and hundreds of artifacts.

Donating Artifacts to the Museum

The National Auto & Truck Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and therefore does not purchase vehicles or artifacts for display. As a museum, we rely solely on the generosity of donors and lenders who give us vehicles, contextual artifacts, library and archive items or provide funds toward our operations, education and collection maintenance.

If you wish to loan us a vehicle for display in the National Auto & Truck Museum or if you are interested in donating your vehicle or transportation related artifact to the National Auto & Truck Museum, you may be able to claim the fair market value of your non-cash donation to the museum as a tax deduction. Please consult your tax adviser. While NATM is unable to provide an appraisal for any vehicles that are offered to us, we recommend having the vehicle or artifact appraised for insurance and tax purposes.
