What is The Great Race?
The Great Race is a time, controlled speed, endurance competition and the #1 Rally Race in America. Each year, racers travel road rally style across public highways, but it’s not a test of speed. This a test of endurance and the ability to follow very precise instructions.
Each car/team has a driver and a navigator who must work together to follow the course instructions that indicate every turn, speed change, stop, and start that the team must make through out the day.

How is NATMUS Involved in The Great Race?
Each year, NATMUS sponsors a car and team at The Great Race alongside the Early Ford V-8 Museum. The volunteers at NATMUS spruce up the vehicle in our onsite shop so they are reliable and race ready.
NATMUS volunteers also participate during the race dates to help feed our racers and be onsite to support the drivers in case the car needs mechanical work on the road.
